How to take action on Inbox notifications
When you click on a notification from the Inbox list on the left-hand side, a detailed view opens on the right. This view looks just like a shift in the schedule — and you can take the same actions from here, such as reviewing changes or approving updates.
Examples of actions you can take
Unavailability requests – Approve the request, mark it as completed, and remove it from your Inbox.
Shift changes – Review what was modified (e.g. start time, duration), then choose to approve or reject the change.
Open shift updates – Accept or decline when someone moves a shift to the Open Shifts pool.
Options in the top-right corner
In the top-right corner of the detail view, you'll find two helpful options:
Mark as completed – After reviewing and taking action on a notification, you can mark it as completed. This removes the item from your Inbox list and helps you stay organized.
Unsubscribe – If you no longer want to receive updates about a specific time block, click Unsubscribe. This will stop further notifications related to that shift.
